Artisent Floors is a fast growing, full service flooring company providing next day flooring service to the Multi-family industry, serving apartment communities in 15 cities from our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN.

The account manager is the primary person responsible for the building and maintaining of the relationships that make our business thrive.

This is an outside sales position making in-person cold calls to businesses and managing existing relationships. Every business you call on is already buying what we sell. We have a competitive advantage in buying power, an enterprise management system that allows you to quickly create and track customer orders, and a large team of home office support and leadership to make sure you have what you need to get the sale.

Day in the Life

Your morning begins around 7:00-7:30, with the rest of the Account Managers and warehouse team ensuring that materials for the day's jobs are loaded with the right installers. After that, you may catch up on some administrative work but you're out the door by 8:30 or 9:00, calling on new customers, measuring apartments, quote jobs, checking on finished jobs, and putting in new orders. You don't come back to the office until the next day.

You will get 8 weeks of training and be fully functional by the end of that time. There are no quotas. If you're calling on customers, you're quoting, measuring, or putting in orders so everyone can see your productivity. Your commission is paid on total branch sales so you do not compete with one another for customers. When someone closes, everyone gets paid. Conversion % is around 12%.

After 90 days, you are eligible for our 401k, which vests immediately. You put in 5% and we will match with another 4%.

We are serious about promoting from within. Almost every branch manager in the company started as an Account Manager.

Qualifications

• Be eager and energetic.
• Be friendly and genuinely enjoy meeting new people all day.
• Some experience in sales, construction, or real estate is helpful but not at all necessary.
• No degree is required.

Pay

Target total cash compensation for this position starts at $60,000 including commission.
